Serra do Buçaco
This forest is planted in the first quarter of the seventeenth century. They charge a small entrance fee (around 5 euro for a family). There is café and a you can see the 5* hotel with beautiful tiles (azulejos) on the outside.
Coïmbra (free parking)
Here you can park for free. Walk across the bridge into the city center. The university and the botanical garden are worth a visit. For good Portuguese Fado you can visit ‘A Capella’. You will find it all in the google maps above!
